Hillary and Bill Clinton sure know how to make an entrance. The former President and First Lady attended the wedding of Sophie Larsy, the daughter of a hedge-fund billionaire, over the weekend. Lasry wed Alexander Swieca, a former University of Michigan quarterback, and also the son of another hedge-fund billionaire,Henry Swieca.
The couple was snapped as they were escorted inside Cipriani Wall Street, in New York City, the location of the lavish ceremony. Also in attendance were Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, who made their first wedding debut as a couple. The Clintons are long-time friends of the father-of-the-bride, Marc Lasry, and the billionaire was among one of the top campaign donors during Hillary Clinton's presidential run. Lasry has a net worth of $1.59 billion.
Inside, wedding guests jumped at the chance to snap a photo alongside the former First Lady and presidential candidate. Real Housewives of New York City star, Dorinda Medley, shared a pic with Hillary Clinton on her Instagram, and captioned, "Always an honor!"
To make things a little bit awkward, Tiffany Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump, was also in attendance. The 23-year-old appeared to have arrived to the ceremony solo, and donned a dark blue, sequined evening dress.
We wonder if the Clintons gave the couple some age-old marriage advice. After all, their love story is pretty sweet. The couple met while they both studied at Yale in 1971, with Hillary making the first move. "I was studying in the library, and Bill was standing out in the hall talking to another student — and I noticed he kept looking over at me. He had been doing a lot of that. So I stood up from the desk, walked over to him and said, 'If you're going to keep looking at me, and I'm going to keep looking back, we might as well be introduced. I'm Hillary Rodham," she previously said to the Clinton House Museum.
Three years and a small cottage later, they married during a simple, at-home ceremony in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
