Heidi Klum’s days as a single lady are limited—and she’s not wasting a moment of them! The supermodel shared a hilarious GIF of herself ahead of her wedding to fiancé Tom Kaulitz that featured a bevy of shirtless men holding her up in the air.
“Bachelorette Party before my big day,” the bride-to-be captioned the clip on Instagram on Wednesday, May 23. She added in a bride, a groom and a heart emoji.
The shindig was likely a part of the Germany’s Next Top Model finale—the reality star posted a subsequent photo from show rehearsals that showed some of the men in the background—but Klum looked thrilled just the same, waving her arms around in the air. (No word yet if Klum will have a non-televised, more traditional bachelorette before saying "I Do.")
The news was a shock to fans of the fashion mogul—who was previously married to Seal from 2005 to 2014 and Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002— because Klum had once said she would never marry again. “I've done it twice and it didn't really work out for me, so why hurt something when it's all good the way it is," she told People in July 2016.
After almost a year of dating the Tokio Hotel guitarist and a super-sweet proposal that included breakfast in bed, however, Klum had a change of heart. “Tom and the kids together worked on making a breakfast tray for Heidi that had coffee, flowers, and a ring box,” a friend of the couple’s told People in January 2019 of the heart-melting moment.
The insider added, “It was important for Tom to have the kids included in the whole thing, so they all brought the tray up to Heidi’s room and surprised her with breakfast in bed and then he proposed.” (Klum shares daughter Helene, 15, sons Henry, 14, and Johan, 12, and daughter Lou, 9, with Seal.)
Kaulitz’s plan worked. “She loved his thoughtfulness and that he included the kids,” the friend said. “They all surprised her together and she loved how he made the kids feel a part of it.”
Klum gushed about her fiancé to Access Hollywood one month later. “I was kind of thinking it was gonna go that way with him, because, I don’t know, it just clicked from the very second and it was kind of as if we were already married when we just met each other, it was very bizarre that way.”
It was something she said even she never expected: “I was married twice before, and I never thought I was gonna say yes again, but I did! I said yes again!”
If this was just a taste of Heidi's pre-wedding celebrations, we can't wait to see what else she has in store!
