Neville Longbottom has just gotten married, and we're so bloody excited. This weekend, Matthew Lewis, best known for his role as the Harry's timid and awkward pal at Hogwarts in the Harry Potter series, tied the knot to his long-time girlfriend, Angela Jones.
The actor, 28, shared the exciting news in a Tweet earlier today, writing, "Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming," he added, alongside the cheeky caption he posted a photo of he and his now-wife at their wedding ceremony. The bride wore a stunning long-sleeve lace gown and carried a bouquet of white roses, while the groom donned a handsome traditional black tux.
The wedding comes over two years after Lewis popped the question back in December 2016. According to a TMZ report at the time, the actor went for the romantic route, getting down on one knee beneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris to propose to Jones. The bride shared a ring selfie on her now-private Instagram account, showing off her absolutely magical diamond engagement ring.
Per TMZ, Jones is apparently an event planner for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The bride actually met her now-husband at an event for the theme park's Wizarding World of Harry Potter back in January 2016, and the two fell in love quickly. Now if only we could all meet our soulmates at Universal Studios...
