On Saturday, her 37th birthday, she and Prince Harry attended the wedding of Prince Harry's longtime friend, Charlie van Straubenzee and his now-wife, Daisy Jenks. The royal couple were spotted heading into a chapel in the village of Churt in Surrey, where they both looked dashing in their attire. The Duchess, who has opted for dresses recently, wore a short sleeve button-down navy Club Monaco frock, while the Duke sported a black morning coat and blue tie. The Duchess opted out of wearing a hat for the affair and instead opted with a black fascinator designed by Phillip Treacy.
In recent outings, Markle has designed Oscar de la Renta and Givenchy, but today, her dress was strikingly affordable. The "Shoanah Dress" is listed on the Club Monaco website for only $328—and which we imagine won't stay that way for very long. The Duchess's previous looks have sold out within days of her wearing them. After stepping out with Prince Harry last year in a laid-back pair of jeans, the same pants were sold out for months online, and only recently restocked. It's Markle sparkle, apparently!
Prince Harry was the best man at van Straubenzee's wedding, and it isn't the first time he's played that role. Prince Harry was the best man for Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton back in 2011.
As for the Duchess of Sussex, we're sure Prince Harry has some princess-worthy birthday celebrations for his wife, and we can't wait to see what these two lovebirds have in store for her big day. Happy birthday, Meghan!
