Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are engaged!
A source told Us Weekly, “They both knew it would happen, but it wasn’t a big thing to them because they were both in long marriages before. There wasn’t a rush.”
The two are trying to keep the news about their engagement quiet, however; the couple has apparently already taken engagement photos but Paltrow is apparently “is waiting to announce it on her website," according to a source.
The couple met in 2014 on the set of Glee, which was cocreated and executive produced by Falchuk. Paltrow was guest starring as substitute teacher Holly Holliday when the two met, and they started dating a short while after.
The two kept their relationship a secret until 2015, when they went public with their romance. Falchuk told Us Weekly in an interview at the time that things were going great with the Goop founder. “I think she just supports everything I do, thankfully,” he said.
Paltrow shared a photo collage on Instagram on Thanksgiving last year that included Falchuk, writing, “I could not be more grateful for these people and those not pictured who bring love and laughs and heart to my life.”
The Oscar-winning actress was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for 11 years, with whom she shares two children: daughter Apple, 13, and son Moses, 11. The two split in March 2015, however, they didn’t finalize their divorce until May 2016. They are considered amicable exes and actively coparent their children together.
