The Great British Bake Off is one of the purest and most tender reality television shows ever created, so we're not totally surprised that participants from season five gathered for an incredibly touching reunion at Martha Collison's English wedding. If you remember, Collison was one of the youngest contestants on the series, which means her fellow costars watched her grow up over the last few years and got to be there when she tied the knot in Ascot to her longtime partner, Michael Haywood.

And because all of these people are master bakers, they went above and beyond, each bringing Collison individual wedding cakes. Contestant Claire Goodwin posted a photo of Collison standing over the impressive spread on Instagram, writing, "@marthacollison @mbhaywood27 cutting the cake make by all of us 2014 bakers! I made the big chocolate cake!" Her creation was a three-tiered chocolate marvel, topped with chocolate pretzels, chocolate eggs, and caramel.

The other creations included flower decorations and one entire tower of macarons, giving Collison's guests all kinds of treats to enjoy.

The contestants also seemed thrilled to have the chance to catch up together. "What a day!" contestant Chetna Makan wrote on Instagram. "Having known @marthacollison since she was 17, watching her get married to @mbhaywood27 yesterday was just most lovely and beautiful and even more special since we had the whole bake-off family there to celebrate!," wrote Chetna. "Also an honor to make her cake with all the other bakers, love each and everyone one of them!"

The celebration was also really pretty: Collison posted a gorgeous photo from the ceremony, showing off her bejeweled dress and bouquet of wild flowers. "The most joyful day. Reader - meet my husband, @mbhaywood27," she wrote on Instagram.

A stunning wedding and perfect bakes? Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry would be so proud.
