Lara Spencer is married!
The Good Morning America co-host tied the knot with tech entrepreneur Rick McVey in Vail, Colorado on Saturday, People reports.
The couple met after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend two years ago, and McVey popped the question in January, 2018. Saturday’s private ceremony included 135 of their closest family and friends, and was truly an intimate affair. Spencer was all smiles as her son, Duff, walked her down the aisle with Christina Perri's “A Thousand Years” playing in the background. She wore a gorgeous white gown from Adam Zohar, which featured a mermaid skirt, sheer detailing, and intricate lace appliqué.
She paired it with an floor-grazing veil and classic white flowers, making her the perfect late summer outdoor bride. Her blonde hair was pulled into a loose, beachy updo, and her makeup looked glowy and natural.
A destination wedding makes sense for the couple, given their mutual love of travel. Throughout their relationship, they've visited Paris and Colorado together, and snapped plenty of selfies in the process.
While Spencer has yet to post any photos from the actual wedding, she has shared a few shots from the days leading up to the big event. On Thursday, she and McVey shared a romantic bike ride through the mountains, and on Friday she shared a gorgeous shot of she and her two teenaged children.
This is the second marriage for both Rick McVey and Lara Spencer, who ended her marriage to real estate broker and former CNN reporter David Haffenreffer in 2015 after 15 years together.
