Glee Star Darren Criss Marries Mia Swier in a New Orleans Wedding!

Pop the champagne: Darren Criss is married to his longtime love, Mia Swier! The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story actor and his now wife tied the knot on Saturday in New Orleans. According to People, the two exchanged their vows in front of a close group of family and friends, as well as a handful of A-listers. Former Glee stars Lea Michele, John Stamos, Chord Overstreet, and Harry Shum Jr. were all in attendance for the big day.

The couple, who have been together for nearly eight years, announced their engagement last January when Criss posted a sweet photo to Instagram of himself and his then-fiancé.

"Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together,” the actor, 32, wrote alongside a photo of the couple. “And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch. We’re goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage.”

Criss hasn't spoken publicly about his love often, but in a 2013 interview he did explain the history behind his relationship with Swier a little bit. “Oh yeah, we’ve been together a long time,” the actor said, according to People. “I didn’t know I was going to be on TV when we started dating.”

This won't be the only big wedding for Criss this year—he previously agreed to sing at costar Lea Michele's wedding, so it's safe to say he's keeping his schedule full.

"We just had our run-through...Darren’s set is so good, I literally stood up and screamed like a fan. I’m a really big fan of his—obviously he’s my friend, but he’s an incredible performer," Michele previously said.

"There was a song [Darren] wanted me to sing in concert, so he told me kind of last minute, and I had to learn it," she added. "So I learned it on our last rehearsal date. He said, ‘Oh my gosh, thank you so much,’ and I’m like, ‘No problem, just start preparing all the songs for my wedding now.’ He’s like, ‘done.'"

Criss and Swier haven't shared any other details of their nuptials, but we'll hopefully hear more about their romantic wedding soon.
