There's no doubt that Harry Shum Jr. has happy feet today! US Weekly reports that Shum, known for his role on FOX's Glee as the dance master Mike Chang, is engaged to longtime girlfriend (and fellow dancer!) Shelby Rabara. And apparently, this relationship development isn't so new— rumor has it Shum put a ring on it (which, from the photo above, looks like a classic round-cut diamond with a pavé band) while the two were vacationing in Hawaii this past October.
But a wedding isn't the only big life-changing news for the affianced couple: Shum purchased a three-bedroom house in L.A., which the pair moved into last month.
"They have been together for years and are so great together," a source told US of the dancing duo.
Like her future hubby, Rabara also dabbles in acting when she's not moving her feet to music. She's held small roles alongside heartthrob Zac Efron in 17 Again and in TV shows such as Community, CSI, and ABC Family's Bunheads. Plus, she appeared opposite her man as a guest on Glee (her character's name was Shoshandra) in 2009 and 2010.
After Shum's rep confirmed his wedding plans, the actor tweeted an adorable picture of their dog and a plastic horse with the caption: "Thank you guys for the well wishes!!! Just have to figure out how to get rid of this third wheel...#muchlove."
While we're excited to learn more about their wedding plans, we're eagerly anticipating their first dance. Will they go for a classic routine like Dirty Dancing or follow in the footsteps of So You Think You Can Dance stars Twitch and Allison's heart-melting proposal performance? Either way, we know this dance will be one to watch thanks to their skills.
Congrats to the happy couple!
