The best couples support each other through the ups and downs—which, for Gisele Bündchen, happens to be Tom Brady's Super Bowl performance. Ever since they tied the knot in 2009, the Brazilian supermodel has been by the Patriots quarterback's side no matter how the big game turns out. During the 2017 Super Bowl, for example, she got everyone wearing "Brady's Ladies" jerseys and had the most adorable freak-out when the Patriots won. On the other side of the spectrum, there's the 2012 Super Bowl, when the Patriots lost to the Giants and she iconically screamed, "My husband cannot f**cking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time!"
During Sunday's 2018 Super Bowl, the Patriots lost again (to the Eagles), but this time Bündchen's response was more on the sweet side. She posted a photo of herself cradling a weepy Tom Brady on Instagram, accompanied with the cutest caption. "Congratulations Eagles for winning the Super bowl, what a game that was!" she wrote. "Congratulations Patriots for giving your best and to my love, we are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see ever [sic] day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do. We love you! ❤️"
This wasn't Bündchen's only display of good sportsmanship after the game. According to USA Today, she turned the Patriots' loss into a teaching moment for her and Brady's children. To her five-year-old daughter Vivian's teary comment about the Eagles winning, she replied, "Just this time. Daddy won five times. They never won before. Their whole life, they never won a Super Bowl. You have to let someone else win sometimes."
We can't wait to see what she has in store for next year's Super Bowl.
