After nine years of marriage, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are still as adorable as ever. Today marks their ninth wedding anniversary, and the two have already begun the celebrations. Earlier today, Bündchen posted a snap to Instagram of a never-before-seen photo from their wedding day.
"What a ride this past 9 years have been. I love learning and growing with you. Happy anniversary love of my lifey!" the model captioned the photo, which shows the two in an intimate embrace on their wedding day. Brady followed suit, also posting a photo that offers a rare look into his and Bündchen's nuptials.
Despite taking a major loss at this year's Super Bowl, the two haven't been letting the game get them down. Shortly after the New England Patriots lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, the two jetted off to Costa Rica to enjoy a relaxing Valentine's Day vacation as a family. The couple also celebrated Bündchen's sister's destination wedding while in Costa Rica, with the supermodel sharing a super stunning snapshot of the bride and groom to Instagram.
Their Costa Rica getaway was only the latest adventure the couple has shared throughout the past nine years. Bündchen and Brady have two children together, Benjamin Brady, 8, and Vivian Lake Brady, 5, and originally celebrated their nuptials with not one, but two exclusive parties. After having been engaged for only a month, the couple first tied the knot in an ultra private 20-person ceremony at the Santa Monica Catholic Church, with immediate family and close friends only. "We planned [the wedding] in like 10 days, and it was perfect," Brady told GQ in 2009 of the Santa Monica ceremony. "We went back to the house and I barbecued aged New York strips. We had champagne, a cake, some ice cream. It was a great night."
A month and a half later, the duo said their second set of I dos, jetting off to the model's house in Costa Rica for a tropical fun filled weekend in an equally intimate event with only 25 guests, where the bride donned a sheath wedding gown with a 10-foot-long veil for the occasion.
