Gina Rodriguez Marries Joe LoCicero in Stunning Outdoor Ceremony

Gina Rodriguez married longtime love Joe LoCicero on Saturday in an elegant and understated outdoor ceremony. The actors revealed their nuptials on Instagram Monday morning, sharing a video clip—that will undoubtedly give you goosebumps—of the affair.

"May 4th, 2019 was absolute MAGIC. To my husband Joseph, I am yours forever. ❤️," Rodriguez captioned the sweet montage. The wedding video, by Harrison Films, shows off their backyard ceremony featuring a circular altar decorated with pink and white blooms, as well as Gina's stunning wedding dress.

The bride wore a timeless ivory satin dress by Spanish brand Pronovias. The "Ribelia" dress featured a mermaid silhouette, cowl neckline and a low back with button-detailing. Gina opted out of the veil for the event, instead accessorizing her half-up, half-down, effortlessly wavy 'do with delicate flowers. She paired the look with Lajoux's Diamond Eternity Huggie earrings customized with diamond "G" and "J" initial charms in white gold.

But the Jane the Virgin star didn't stop there: The wedding clip shows that she literally let her hair down for the reception and changed into a sexier dress. Her second gown featured a sheer bustier top with pearl detailing and a full skirt. She also briefly flashed her to-die-for engagement ring in a few shots and later showed off her simple gold wedding band.

While the bride and groom didn't reveal too many more details about the wedding, Rodriguez did thank the team who helped organize the affair. "Thank you to my mother in law for the wedding of my dreams. And the village that helped her!" she wrote. "Love to our Videographers: @harrisonfilms To the greatest wedding planner, Laura @coutureconceptsny The genius behind the gorgeous flowers, Akvile @florasavenue. And Jane the Virgin fans will recognize the officiant as the show's Rafael (Justin Baldoni), who Gina called her "soul brother" in the Instagram caption.

Gina and Joe announced their engagement in August 2018, after fans spotted some new jewelry on her hand in pics from her Cabo birthday trip. The two met in 2016 when Joe played a stripper on Gina's hit show (now there's a story for the grandkids!).

The actress has been very candid about the stress of wedding planning, revealing she and her fiancé even considered eloping at one point.

"As of this Sunday, I feel like we're going to elope. It is so much drama!" she said on The Talk, per Entertainment Tonight. "There was a point where I was like, 'Everybody arrange everything. I just want to show up. I just want to do it. I want to say I do. I'm happy.' And then I started hearing what they wanted to do and I was like, 'Uh, I don't know about that.' "

We're glad Gina changed her mind on having a full-blown wedding, considering the couple blew away expectations with their results.
