When it comes to wedding flowers, some brides ask their florists to skip the roses, probably because they're thinking of the standard grocery-store varieties. But garden roses are in a completely different league compared to basic roses!
They have become some of the most sought-after blooms for weddings thanks to their lush, ruffled petals in the center that are tightly wound in a beautiful swirl pattern — they're similar to peonies without the expensive price tag! Plus, they come in an incredible array of colors from the punchy-pink Yves Piagets (which have unique frazzled edges to the petals) and creamy vanilla-colored Caramel Antikes, to the intense, deep-red Piano variety.
Garden roses tend to be available year-round but are hitting their peak right now, so if you love them, you should definitely plan on a June wedding. To help get you inspired, we've put together a collection of our favorite bridal bouquets featuring lush garden roses.
