The "funny face bridesmaid photo" is pretty much a wedding day rite of passage, and one funny-face-making woman will forever go down in history as a master of the craft.
The bridesmaid was asked to "Make a silly face!" for a group picture by photographer Justine Sidella. The resulting shot, which posted she posted on Reddit, pretty much won the Internet, Cosmopolitan reports.
In the picture, the group of bridesmaids is adorably coordinated in the standard matching floral pre-wedding robes. The other women's "funny faces" were different variations on the tilted head/open-mouthed smile look, but this particular bridesmaid really went for it. She somehow bent her neck to lie completely flat on her shoulder to create some seriously uncomfortable looking rolls, then pursed her lips and crossed her eyes. It's almost impossible not to laugh — especially considering she is fully decked out in full-glam hair and makeup, but making the most ridiculous face you've ever seen.
The comments on the post applaud the bridesmaids effort to really take the photo to the next level. "Everyone else in the picture didn't even seem to bother putting in any effort to make a silly face, but you seem so invested," wrote one user. "This is the first time I've ever genuinely laughed at something on Reddit," said another.
Other commenters wonder how exactly she managed to bend her neck in such an uncomfortable looking fashion — because honestly, it's pretty incredible. "This has crossed a line from goofy to damn impressive. Like did you dislocate part of your neck to pull that off?" asked one user. "Hope you didn't snap your neck in the making of this no holding back silly face," shared another.
Regardless of how she managed to pull this off, one thing is for sure: It is definitely making it into the wedding album for the grandkids to see.
