So, is Felicity Jones engaged?! All signs are currently pointing to yes! While attending Glamour UK‘s Women of the Year Awards in London on Wednesday, the actress stepped out in a gorgeous black gown, but what really stole the show was the star's stunning engagement (?) ring!
The sparkler features a large round-cut diamond that sits on a thin gold band. With the help of Jones's halter-style ruffled ball gown, the ring was definitely able to stand out. But, come on, Felicity. We need answers!
Rumor has it the actress is currently engaged to boyfriend Charles Guard, whom she'd been dating for a little over two years. Although she's kept her relationship with Guard pretty tight-lipped, Jones admitted she is quite the "romantic."
“I am definitely romantic and I love romantic stories—that’s why I keep making romantic movies," she previously told The Telegraph. It’s funny how seeing a love story never gets boring because it’s the dream isn’t it? It’s the dream to have a true connection with another human being.”
Prior to her relationship with Guard, the British beauty dated sculptor Ed Fornieles for 10 years after meeting at Oxford University. The pair went their separate ways in 2013, but she doesn't look back at the relationship with regret.
“I have had love and I have lost love and I was just in a very long relationship that was very important to me but unfortunately it broke down,” she says. “But I learned so much from that relationship and I am glad that person was very, very important to me and I had him in my life.”
Now, Jones has found love again (and a sparkly diamond to match!), despite being a bit shy to date again. “I don’t want to go into the gory details of my love life but I was with this person and it was so awkward because you know what it’s like when you are so nervous you don’t know what to say to each other but you really like the person? And it’s always when you like someone that you never know what to say. Why is that? It’s so annoying. But when you don’t like someone you feel so cool and you say all these wonderful things.”
A happily ever after, indeed!
