What goes better with a new engagement ring than a gorgeous, complementary manicure? Not a whole lot! That's why we searched the Internet high and low for fun engagement manicure ideas that'll set your ring selfie apart from all the others on your Instagram feed.

Show off your new bling with some salon-worthy nails. The manicure ideas below are perfect for showcasing a diamond bauble. They'll look stunning next to your new sparkler, but without overshadowing it. And don't worry—they are all totally doable, even if you're not an expert with the nail polish brush.

Paint on one of the nail ideas below and then get ready to snap some ring selfies.

Put a sparkly spin on the traditional French mani. Nail artist @thehangedit used Jinsoon polish in Tulle ($18, available at Nordstrom) and Verismo ($18, available at Barneys) to pull off this look.

Slap on a heart decal, and your nails will be instantly ring-selfie ready! These bridal-appropriate stickers are available at Olive & June for $16.

Nail art doesn't have to be distracting. With the right design, it can look inarguably chic and become the finishing touch to your new bauble. Nail artist @betina_goldstein used OPI Alpine Snow ($11, available at Target) and the aptly named OPI Otherwise Engaged ($17, available on Amazon) in this luxe look.

A gradient pretty-in-pink manicure is perfect for a bride-to-be, demonstrated here by Olive & June artists @tute_tutie. They used the OPI polishes Funny Bunny ($6.98, available at Walmart) and Bubble Bath ($11, available on Amazon).

Brush a bold hue on your ring finger to really put the spotlight on your engagement ring.

Similarly, you can add some nail art to your ring finger to make your bauble pop. Have a gold band? Use flecks of gold nail foils ($2.64, available on Amazon) like nail artist @tute_tutie did here.

Don't want to commit to a full-on glitter manicure? Add a touch of sparkle by painting it on vertically along the sides of your nails. Try Butter London's Peel-Off Glitter Lacquer in Glitz ($12, available at Ulta)

Utilize negative space, so all the more attention will be on your engagement ring. Nail artist @cassmariebeauty used a dry brushing technique to add some subtle sparkle.

Do you crave some sparkle, but are searching for something more unique than your average glitter polish? Try a holographic nail powder, like OPI's Chrome Effects Mirror-Shine Nail Powder, seen above ($22, available at Walmart).
