With spring coming in a few months, it's time to think about bright and bold color palettes for your wedding ceremony and reception. One of our favorite color combinations for a warmer weather bash: emerald and aqua. The pairing of warm and regal emerald with punchy aqua is perfect for your spring or summer wedding since it mixes a classic, elegant shade with something trendy and vibrant.
We were inspired by this tranquil, poolside escape, which balances lots of crystal blue water with tons of lush greenery. The color pairing will result in a gorgeous, relaxing space that transports your friends and family to an island getaway. To make it work, start by selecting an invitation that balances bright aqua with more subtle emerald green.
For your bouquet, we love a simple mix of white blooms, like anemones and tulips. For more color, consider adding blue hydrangea or delphiniums to channel a hint of that pretty aqua tone. To drive that tropical vibe home, we love the idea of skipping your wedding cake and going for something slightly less traditional like these pretty (and delicious!) palm-leaf cookies.
