One of our favorite celebrity couples is getting married—again! According to a new report, Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi will mark their decade-long marriage with a special vow renewal in Australia. A source revealed to Women's Day that the couple will recreate their 2008 wedding with "a few new twists," and the couple is set to jet to the land down under in summer 2018.
Of course, much like any Hollywood wedding, the guest list is going to be star-studded. A few names on the roster include Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Pink, and Julia Roberts. "This second wedding will be a fresh start for them," the source revealed to the publication. "They're so in love."
The TV personality and de Rossi have been together since 2004 after meeting backstage at an awards ceremony. The couple, who are also fierce campaigners for equality and LGBT rights, tied the knot when gay marriage became legal. They wed during an intimate at-home ceremony in 2008.
Last year, DeGeneres opened up on finding happiness with de Rossi during an interview with People. “I’m grateful for everything. I’m grateful for my health, and I’m so grateful for the love in my life,” she told the publication. “Because not everybody finds that. Not everybody finds that best friend.”
“Portia and I constantly say to each other, ‘We are so lucky.’ Sometimes it’s lying in bed at night before I go to sleep, and I just say thank you to whatever, whoever is out there,” she continued. “I’ve gotten to a place where I really am just settled. Really. I know that I’m not going anywhere. She’s not going anywhere. I’m not saying the relationship took a while; I’m saying in my life, it took a while to find this.”
We can't wait for wedding No. 2!
