Congratulations are in order for Hostel director Eli Roth, who had anything but a terrifying weekend in Chile. The actor and director wed fiancée Lorenza Izzo on Saturday on the beach in Zapallar, according to Us Weekly.
Izzo, a Chilean actress and model, did experience her own pre-wedding terror, though. Her Vera Wang wedding dress, seen below, was held at customs for a week, and was released just in time for her to get ready for the ceremony. To finish her beachy look, the bride wore a loose half-up hairstyle topped with an orange flower crown. As for Roth, he walked down the aisle in a classic Isaia tux.
Their romantic nuptials, which were recited in both English and Spanish, took place near the ocean around noon and were reportedly filled with meaningful stories about how the couple met.
The reception was held at Cachagua Polo Club, where their guests were treated to an all day (and night!) party. "At midnight roast lamb was served and people drank and danced until 4am," a guest tells Us Weekly. The couple offered popcorn, served in boxes that featured both Roth and Izzo's movies, including Knock Knock and Green Inferno, as a party snack to keep their guests on the dance floor.
But it seems like it wasn't difficult to keep guests dancing all evening long. "There was a singer from Iceland, Brazilian dancers, and a standee for My Big Fat Chilean Wedding that everyone posed with," the source adds.
It sounds like a perfect party to us! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Roth.
