Meghan Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, is headed to London for the royal wedding this Saturday, and she may have given a major hint about the event on her way out of the country. When leaving her Los Angeles home for the airport on May 15, Ragland was seen carrying a Burberry garment bag, which led some to believe that Markle's mom will be wearing the British luxury fashion line down the aisle. Or perhaps Ragland will make an outfit change for the second of the receptions. (Or she may have chosen a British designer to officially meet the queen.)
After much back and forth, Markle's father, Thomas Markle, officially decided not to attend his daughter's wedding, due to to his heart condition, which means Ragland could be the one escorting her daughter down the aisle—with many eyes on her outfit. Of course, the garment bag could also be a strategically placed red herring to keep the public guessing on which designers are involved in the royal affair.
But it doesn't seem like mother, like daughter when it comes to fashion. It has been reported that the bride will wear Ralph & Russo, the same brand who created her $75,000 engagement photo dress, for the big day. No matter the designer of the dress, it's reportedly complete and under lock-and-key at Windsor Castle awaiting the Queen's approval.
