Wedding registries are a great way to stock your new shared home with quality goods, but seriously, how exciting can it be to open box after box of small kitchen appliances? Now, thanks to Domino's, there's a different kind of box in your gift-opening future: a pizza box.
The new Domino's Wedding Registry allows engaged folks to register for pizza, the gift that truly keeps on giving. Just create an account and wish list of eGift cards redeemable at the pizza retailer, share with family and friends, and prepare for dinner to be taken care of for countless nights to come.
According to Domino's, the fact that so many couples opt to include pizza in the most important day of their lives inspired the creation of the registry.
"The Domino’s wedding registry aims to provide brides and grooms with a fun, alternative wedding registry that differs from traditional wedding registries through big-box retailers," the pizza company's director of PR Jenny Fouracre told Brides. "We have seen firsthand from our customers that pizza is a part of their everyday lives. They love pizza so much that they’ve included it in big life events like weddings. We thought creating a wedding registry would be a great way to celebrate the shared love of pizza we have with our customers and bring pizza fans together over something they’re already so passionate about."
This isn't just any ol' pie, though. Domino's is offering special featured gifts appropriate for use in situations before and after the "I dos," including "2 a.m. Bachelor Party Feast," "Thank You Card-a-thon," "Post-Honeymoon Adjustment to Real Life," or even simply "An Excuse Not to Cook." An eGift in any amount over $15 will be emailed to the couple, and guests can print out a confirmation of their purchase in order to have a physical gift to give on the wedding day.
But Domino's isn't just gifting cheesy goodness—they're also offering plenty of wedding inspiration via their new Domino's Wedding Registry Pinterest board, created to mark the registry's launch. After all, nothing says romance like Stuffed Cheesy Bread and a big gooey slice of ExtravaganZZa.
