Like every summer, this one was full of weddings—from those of celebrity status (like Ashley Greene's NoCal nuptials and Game of Thrones's Kit Harington and Rose Leslie's castle ceremony) to your friends and family's more intimate "I dos." But if there was one wedding whose guest list we wish we landed on, it was that of Daisy Jenks and Charlie van Straubenzee. The groom is an old friend of none other than Prince Harry, who attended the wedding this weekend as an usher with his wife, Meghan Markle, at his side.
But the couple's royal attendees isn't the only reason why this was the wedding of the season.
With the ever-stylish Meghan Markle sitting in the audience, this bride had her work cut out for her if she didn't want her spotlight inadvertently stolen by the Duchess of Sussex (whose birthday also happened to land on the August 4 wedding day)—but Daisy Jenks held her own seemingly effortlessly. For her and van Straubenzee's ceremony at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Frensham, Surrey, the 27-year-old bride stunned in an ultra-romantic wedding dress and veil featuring countless three-dimensional flowers dotting the airy tulle.
She also carried a bouquet full of her name-sake blooms and country-chic greenery. Meanwhile, her now-husband, who met Prince Harry and Prince William while attending Ludgrove Prep School, looked dashing in his pinstripe pants, dark navy jacket, and blue-green vest. The groom completed his wedding-day look with a printed red tie.
If their ceremony attire wasn't enough to make your wedding Pinterest board, the bride and groom also made their getaway in an adorable rickshaw. Jenks waved and rode in the back as guests threw confetti and van Straubenzee peddled away.
People reports that Daisy Jenks is a videographer (who has actually shot a ton of weddings herself, according to her company's website) and she and her now-husband also attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding back in May. Looks like Harry returned the favor by stepping up for his friend's wedding this weekend, where he reportedly performed usher duties for van Straubenzee.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weren't the only royals in attendance at this high-society summer wedding. Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank also made the guest list cut. Hopefully the new Mr and Mrs. van Straubenzee will be in attendance for Eugenie and Jack's own wedding in October!
