Just when you thought your dad was the king of dad jokes, one dad is stepping up to reclaim the title. Bride-to-be Allison Barron got the surprise of her life the other day when her boyfriend, Levi Bliss, got down on one knee and proposed to her. But it wasn't her new sparkler that was the biggest shock of the day.

The couple, who have been together for two years, decided to get engaged this year in front of the beautiful mountainous landscape of their hometown of Winnemucca, Nevada. But when Bliss got down to pop the question, the two had a very unexpected guest crash their plans. Barron's father, Jake, decided to troll his daughter in the most dad-like way possible, holding up a sign at the exact moment of the proposal that read, "SAY NO!" Classic dad.

Since sharing the news of her proposal to social media earlier this week, the photos have gone completely viral. In just a few days, she's received over 66,000 shares on Twitter alone. But Barron clarified to her followers: Her father actually does really like her future groom, and there's no bad blood between the two.

"We have gone on many trips all together and they have hung out just the two of them before, too, playing tennis, riding dirt bikes, and other activities," she told Buzzfeed of her father and fiancé's relationship. "This is really just my dad's personality. We have a very close family and so he's made little jokes like this before."

The bride added that even though the proposal had her in tears, they immediately dried when she saw her dad's goofy sign. "We both know my dad so well, we got the joke right away and found it funny," she said.

The bride added that the feedback from the story has been just as big a surprise as the proposal itself. "You always see little things like this blow up on Twitter and now it's me," she added. "It [has] also been one of the best days ever, so I really get to just keep reliving it!"
