I love this menu display idea spotted on Glen Allsop's photography blog. A list of the dinner offerings was painted onto the sides of wooden crates and displayed at the reception. It's a great way to clue guests in on what's for dinner, especially if you're doing a buffet-style reception. Stack several crates on top of each other slightly askew, then fill the top crate with silverware and napkins and place the rustic menu display near the buffet tables.
