We thought The Voice was a reality TV singing competition—not a dating reality show. But, hey, we ain't complaining! Two alumni of season four on the NBC show actually found love in between waiting for those chairs to turn and showing off their impressive pipes. And now they're heading down the aisle! Colton Swon of the country music duo the Colton Brothers and Caroline Glaser are engaged, after Swon popped the question over the weekend.
Since Glaser performed her Voice run on Team Blake and the Swon Brothers ultimately finished third in the reality competition series, the couple has been singing each other's praises all over the 'Gram, posting super-cute lovey-dovey snapshots and generally being #couplegoals. But this is obvi their best one yet! Swon and Glaser took to Instagram on Sunday to announce their nuptial news and share a pair of adorbs engagement-ring selfies.
According to People, the couple was at a local theater when Swon showed a fake movie trailer full of swoon-worthy moments from their relationship, then got down on one knee and popped the question with both of their families looking on. Glaser's answer?
"She said YES!" Swon captioned a photo of his bride-to-be's new round-cut engagement ring on Instagram. "I get to marry my best friend y'all! I've been dreaming her up my whole life and she's so much more than what my simple mind could come up with. Thank you Lord for this amazing girl and these two amazing families. Forever ain't long enough."
Glaser also shared her excitement on social media, sharing a photo of herself and her groom-to-be—with her new sparkler in full view!
"My heart is exploding & I'm struggling to find the right words to say, but today I said yes to a life with my best friend," she captioned the shot. "Couldn't have dreamt up a better moment (or guy)—Nobody makes me laugh harder or smile bigger... I love you Colton Hunter with my whole heart. Forever isn't nearly long enough."
With these two cuties walking down the aisle and Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton on engagement-ring watch, there has to be something in the water over at The Voice....
