Where else would you expect a Nashville star to tie the knot? Clare Bowen, star of the CMT series Nashville, just said “I do” to musician Brandon Robert Young in the country-music capital. Here’s everything we know about the actress and her love’s Tennessee wedding day.

The couple got engaged on December 5, 2015, when Young popped the question onstage. Bowen was performing at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville when her love surprised her with a proposal. Unfortunately, the couple was forced to put their wedding plans on hold when Bowen’s brother was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, her brother is now in remission—and it’s time to celebrate! “We got engaged and then my brother got sick, so we dropped everything,” Bowen previously explained to Entertainment Tonight. “Everything stopped and we went to Australia to help him. Now Tim is in remission [and] we’re just able to start planning, and it’s going like wildfire.”

“October 21,” she said of their wedding date. “We both love the fall. I think that’s going to be it.” And October 21 it was!

That date finally rolled around this weekend, when the couple made it official, according to Us Weekly. The wedding celebrations kicked off on Friday when the bride-to-be gave a peek inside her pre-wedding party. Bowen and her besties boarded a boat for a sunrise sail ahead of her I do’s. “Watching the sunrise. Wearing the blanket I was wrapped in when I was born around my shoulders. Gonna go marry my soulmate now,” Bowen captioned a photo.

Bowen’s bridesmaids also surprised her with a unicorn cake (umm... that's adorable!) and expressed their own excitement over the big day: “One more sleep till the big day...can’t wait to stand next to you and cry the whole damn time,” wrote one of her friends on the ’Gram.

For this pre-wedding bash, Bowen donned a flirty, sparkly gold minidress. Reportedly, Bowen wore a custom-made wedding dress for the main event. “I had never wanted to get married before Brandon, which I kind of love. We’re picking flowers and I’m designing dresses with this wonderful designer named Olia Zavozina, who is Nashville-based,” the bride previously told ET.

And her gorgeous gown sure didn't disappoint!

On the big day, Bowen donned a princess-worthy, feminine frock with embellished ruffled cap sleeves and peplum and accessorized the gown with a voluminous tulle veil and beaded headband.

Bowen completed her wedding-day look with a pair of gold ballet flats with a pink bejeweled embellishment. But by the end of the night, one of the slippers lost its sparkle! "Sign of a real good party," Bowen captioned an after photo of her shoes on Instagram. "Danced so much, my slipper blew a sparkly."

If that's not a sign of a banging bash, we don't know what is!
