Here at BRIDES, we've seen our fair share of elaborate, over-the-top wedding dresses. There was that custom Christian Dior gown that included 165 feet of tulle (enough to clothe you, your bridal party, your mother, your grandmother, the flower girl…). And that light-up wedding dress international Youtube and Instagram celeb Rachel Vennya wore down the aisle. But it's this bride's unbelievable ball gown that would make Cinderella actually jealous. Is it a custom design? Check. Is it impossibly sparkly? Check. Can it fit six small children underneath its train? Check. Yes, Cinderella would probably chastise her fairy godmother if she saw this over-the-top frock…
According to Cosmopolitan, Intan Azzahra just said "I do" to her groom, Zendhy Zaen, in a custom-designed fairytale-worthy frock. Azzahra tapped Indonesian designer Ivan Gunawan to create the jaw-dropping gown, featuring pearl beading all along the bodice and long sleeves, voluminous cascading tiers of luxe organza, and a billowing train. Oh, and stunning scalloped beading down the skirt, a sparkly tiara, and a crazy circumference. Casual.
Azzahra's groom matched her fairytale vibes in a Prince Charming–inspired suit and regal sash. And if all that wasn't enough to make you think these two just stepped out of an honest-to-goodness Disney movie, did you notice the legitimate castle set behind them?
Surprisingly, this wasn't even the most elaborate dress of the night! Later in the reception, this bride tossed off her Cinderella wedding dress for one even more extravagant, if you can believe it. Azzahra changed into a ruby red gown with illusion lace sleeves, a sparkle-studded bodice, and a—wait for it—train featuring hundreds upon hundreds of fiery feathers. Seriously! Just look at this thing!
Like, what?! Just… What?! We can't even being to imagine what a dress like that weighs—or costs. But we're sure not one of this bride's wedding guests will ever forget this gown. (Or how awkward she must have looked trying to dance in it.)
