Country singer Chuck Wicks is officially off the market!
He married Kasi Williams, the sister of fellow country star Jason Aldean, on Friday with 103 guests at the Cabo Azul Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, People reports. “Kasi and I both felt as if we were in a dream,” Wicks told the publication of their big day. “Every moment was absolutely breathtaking and the best part is we were able to share that with our closest family and friends! This moment will be cherished for the rest of our lives.”
The bride wore a spaghetti-strap gown with a deep v-neck and beaded detailing, and carried a bouquet of white flowers. Her hair was styled in loose, beachy waves that cascaded down her shoulders. After the ceremony, the cocktail hour took place around a fire pit while a mariachi band played. The group finished the night with wedding cake and fireworks.
The weekend was "a party from start to finish," according to Wicks, and included a Friday morning bridal brunch for the women and an ATV ride along the coast for the men, followed by a rehearsal dinner for all of the event's attendees. "We had all of our closest family and friends and the memories that were made will forever be unmatched," Williams wrote on Instagram, before offering a tip to future brides on their own wedding day: "The best thing you can do is to be in the moment and have someone else document for you."
Wicks and Williams met at a party and later connected on Instagram, then got engaged in March of this year while on a romantic vacation in Canada. Wicks popped the question in the middle of a snowy forest, and posted a photo of the moment to Instagram. "About last night..... I lOVE YOU @kasirosa ❤️," he wrote. "We could hear a pin drop in that woods. Nothing but us and the snow falling. It was absolutely perfect. Even if the camera stand I got just for this moment was having some issues. Lol. I’ve waited forever for you and now I will forever be yours. #arewedreaming"
Based on the way Wicks described the weekend, the whole thing really was a dream come true.
