It's no secret that Valentine's Day is a pretty popular date for popped questions. What better way to celebrate your love than with a proposal and some new engagement bling, after all? Just ask Christina Aguilera and her fiancé, Matthew Rutler. This February 14th will mark the two year anniversary of when Rutler dropped to one knee and proposed to the sultry songstress. After two long years, Aguilera must have her wedding plans all wrapped up, right? Wrong! According to her recent interview in Women's Health, the Grammy-winner revealed that she has no plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon.
Despite the long engagement, this to-be-wed twosome is still in the early stages of planning. "We discuss it when we're snuggling in bed," Aguilera shared with the magazine. "But it's a casual conversation." So what's the uphold? (It's not like we've been dying to see the the pop star's surely gorgeous wedding dress or anything...) Turns out, the no-rush nuptials have come about from Aguilera's desire to focus on motherhood and taking care of herself. Okay, fine, we guess we can forgive X-tina for that!

The mom of seven-year-old son Max and one-year-old daughter Summer Rain, Aguilera is keeping busy doting on her precious little ones. "Mothers are constantly expected to be the nurturers, the givers, the providers of a comfortable home," said The Voice coach. "We're expected to be pregnant, have the kids, breastfeed once we have the babies. And we're expected to look amazing after baby, right? Keep our husbands and boyfriends interested because we're supposed to get back to sexy and keep things exciting in the bedroom. There's such a long list!"
"Having children is the ultimate joy, and I love my kids, but women have to find time to nurture themselves," she explained. Okay, so now we understand why this busy lady isn't ready to add wedding planning to that very long list anytime soon. So for now, it just looks like we'll have to be patient to see Aguilera's wedding day bridal style — but that won't stop us from dreaming! (We're thinking a punchy red lip...)
