Congratulations to everybody's favorite celebrity couple, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. The pair, who are basically the only reason anyone is still on Twitter, and who have kept us entertained and fawning over their love and laughter–filled relationship for a very long time, are celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary Thursday (September 14).
Teigen took to social media on Thursday to commemorate the milestone. She posted a photo to Instagram and Twitter in which she wears a sexy LBD and thigh-high stiletto boots and leans on her husband, who wears a black shirt, black pants, and black sneakers under a long tan coat. "Do you know what to-day is #itsouranniversary ❤️," the model and cookbook author captioned the pic, which appears to have been taken on Wednesday, since Legend wears the exact same outfit in a photo he posted on Thursday of their trip to London's Tate Modern museum that night.
Legend has yet to post about his wedding anniversary—although we can safely assume that the doting husband is crafting a lovey-dovey Insta caption as we speak. However, the "All of Me" singer did confirm the strength of his relationship earlier Thursday: After a fan tweeted that they were feeling "rather sad" about a tabloid's report that Legend and Teigen are "having serious marital problems," Legend set the record straight, tweeting back, "Don't believe these stories! We good!!!"
The power couple started dating shortly after they met on the set of the music video for Legend's 2006 song "Stereo." They married in a star-studded ceremony at Italy's Lake Como in September 2013 and, in April 2016, welcomed daughter Luna Simone after being refreshingly open about their fertility struggles. The pair have been similarly open about their relationship, with Legend recently sharing that the secret to keeping the romance alive is a healthy dose of effort and plenty of meaningful romantic gestures. "You just have to make time for each other, go on little trips like we did for her birthday and go to dinner just the two of you sometimes. You still have to have romance time," he told E! News.
Legend, 38, and Teigen, 31, also recently opened up about the time Legend tried (and failed) to break up with Teigen early in their courtship. "I was really stressed and busy. I was just like, 'I'd just be happier single right now,' and she was like, 'No,'" Legend told The Guardian earlier this month. Teigen corroborated the story on Twitter shortly after, writing, "It wasn't a a typical breakup. He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like 'no.'" Ah, true love!
