Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have only been engaged for a few weeks, but they are jumping right into wedding planning! The Guardians of the Galaxy star opened up about his upcoming nuptials in an interview with Us Weekly at the premiere of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part in Westwood, California.
The actor, 39, revealed that even though the two haven't made any major planning moves just yet, they do have an idea of when the big day will take place.
"A little, you know, maybe fall, winter kind of thing and you know, we’ve got a lot to get done,” Pratt said, which means their wedding could take place any time between September 23 this year and March 19, 2020. He added that his six-year-old son, Jack, whom he shares with his ex-wife Anna Faris, is "so thrilled" about his dad's upcoming wedding.
In a previous report, a source told People that the couple's religious beliefs and spirituality will play a major role in their big day.
“They’re going to want a religious wedding,” the source said. “I know that Chris does, and I assume that she does, too. God is going to be a part of this marriage.”
The source also added that Pratt loves his fiancé's ability to listen to and accept his religious beliefs.
“He’s constantly around other people who have no faith or are apologetic about it, but not her," the source said. "She is willing to talk about it to anyone who will listen.”
The couple announced their engagement less than a month ago, when Pratt shared the exciting news to Instagram.
"Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go! 💍🙏♥️" Pratt wrote in a caption.
We can't wait to see what these two have in store for their trip down the aisle!
