Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger seem to agree: Their wedding was the best day of both of their lives.
The couple, who got married on Saturday, both took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon to share the first public photo from the event. "Yesterday was the best day of our lives!" they each wrote on their individual feeds alongside a picture of them holding hands. "We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed."
The celebration took place at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, where the couple was surrounded by friends and family—including Schwarzenegger’s famous parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, and Pratt's 6-year-old son, Jack. “Everyone just looked so happy,” an insider told People, adding that the venue included, “lots of flowers and greenery everywhere. It’s a very romantic setting for a wedding.” Schwarzenegger wore a floor-length white gown with lace detailing and a matching veil, and carried cream roses down the aisle.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger were first spotted together in June, 2018, and announced their engagement on Instagram in January of this year. "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” Pratt wrote at the time. “Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
