After less than six months of dating, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger may be heading down the aisle.
The couple, who has been linked since earlier this year (they were first spotted together on June 17 attending a Father's Day picnic) is starting to get serious, People reports, which could mean marriage is in the very near future.
“They’re such a great fit together,” a source told the magazine. “It’s only been a few months but Chris and Katherine are both very serious about the relationship and their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they got engaged sooner rather than later. Katherine has spent time with Chris’ family and they all love her too. She fits in really well with them and vice versa.”
Since coupling up, the pair has been photographed together in public quite a few times. In past month, they've been seen biking through Santa Monica, taking Pratt's son, Jack, to the movies, and attending dinner with her family, including her mom, Maria Shriver, and brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, who formerly dated Miley Cyrus.
Pratt was married to actress and podcast host Anna Faris for eight years before the couple announced their separation in July 2017. “We are sad to announce we are legally separating,” they said in a joint statement. “We tried really hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed ... we still love each other and will always cherish our time together.”
Schwarzenegger is the first person the Guardians of the Galaxy star has been linked to since his split. “Divorce sucks,” he said in April of this year, two months before he and Schwarzenegger were first spotted together. “But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.”
