It's my firm belief that chocolate is the best favor option out there—guests are pretty much guaranteed to love it more than some useless doodad. One of my favorite chocolate companies is Sausalito,CA-based Coco-luxe because instead of having to guess what flavor each truffle is (or worse, bite into a flavor I hate), their chocolates are imprinted with a design indicating the flavor (a peanut for peanut butter, a tea kettle for green tea, a mint leaf for mint, etc.).
So I was excited to find out that Coco-luxe recently opened their first brick-and-mortar boutique on San Francisco's Haight Street. In addition to truffles and chocolate bars, the playfully-designed space also offers espresso and hot chocolate—a fun environment to order custom favors or mull over wedding plans with your bridesmaids. —Lauren Matthews, associate editor, Brides Local magazines
