After the band plays the last song and the reception comes to an end, chances are you and your guests may not be ready to stop the party. Even though your wedding day is officially over, you can still have a killer after-party at some of Chicago's swankiest nightspots, all of which are open late, late, late. Here are six of our favorite post-ceremony after party spots in Chicago.

Hidden above a tapas restaurant in West Town, Bordel is the perfect place to bring a group of late night revelers. The speakeasy-style lounge is reminiscent of a sultry jazz club, with a cocktail list that includes one-of-a-kind creations with names like Nifty Louie, Molly-O, and Blind Pig (which tastes much better than it sounds).

This posh bar and restaurant located in River North is known for its sleek 1920s décor and sophisticated crowd. Relax downstairs at the bar, or head up to the Deco Room, a chic space ideal for sipping fancy champagne with your guests until the wee hours.

The recently revamped Chicago Athletic Association is now home to one of Chicago's most unique hotels, with nightlife to match. Inside the historic 19th century building you'll find the Game Room, complete with bocce and shuffleboard — and the breathtaking rooftop bar Cindy's overlooking a sparkling city.

What better way to end the evening than in a kitschy cool tiki bar? Three Dots and a Dash in River North is decorated in a vibrant Polynesian style, with delicious cocktails served in epic theme glasses. They offer private party accommodations too, so you and your guests can have a special corner of paradise all to yourselves.

Known for its moody, retro vibe, The California Clipper lounge located on the West side is the perfect place to wind down, cocktail in hand, and rehash the evening's festivities. They even have board games to keep the party vibe going.

If your après-wedding crowd is seeking some old school excitement, lead them over to the Logan Arcade in hip Logan Square. This hardware store turned arcade and bar comes complete with all the full-size arcade games and pinball machines your inner pre-teen would adore.
