Each week we take a deeper look at one of our favorite new love stories, and today we're going behind the scenes of Siavash and Kalyn's charming Beverly Hills wedding.
Modern 8 Films joined this pair at Greystone Mansion, a historic property with epic views of the Los Angeles Basin and downtown Santa Monica Bay, for their special day. From start to finish, the bride and groom wanted their day to be brimming with personal and sentimental details. From vintage books on each ceremony chair to the bride's ultra-romantic lace ball gown, we love how Siavash and Kalyn truly made their wedding day their own.
One way this couple personalized their wedding? With their ceremony, of course. The pair trusted their officiant to create a meaningful ceremony, with vows that were entirely unique to the couple. By the time the pair finally traded "I do's" and shared their first kiss, guests had been treated to a re-telling of Siavash and Kalyn's unique love story. While there's certainly nothing wrong with a standard ceremony (after all, many couples have said those exact words before!), we love how this bride and groom went to great lengths to ensure their vows were about their relationship from start to finish.
For their reception, this pair chose décor that made the night feel like an elevated dinner party. Long tables were topped with low floral arrangements, allowing guests to talk easily and mingle throughout the night. After dinner was done, guests were ready to celebrate, and everyone hit the dance floor. To ensure she could take part in the party, Kalyn traded her ball gown for a fitted sheath.
