Even though Channing Tatum's days of starring in the Magic Mike movies are behind him, he is nowhere near done with the franchise. Magic Mike Live, a live show conceived and codirected by Tatum and based on the popular films, recently premiered in Las Vegas. You won't see the actor showing off his proven moves onstage, but that may change soon. In a red-carpet interview during the show's grand opening at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan Tatum revealed that they both hope to appear in the show at some point.
An E! News reporter on the red carpet asked the couple, who met when they were costarring in the 2006 dance-themed movie Step Up, if they ever plan to work together again.
"We might work together in this show," Tatum said, referring to Magic Mike Live. Dewan Tatum was quick to say that she is equally into the idea. "If I have my way, one day, there's a part in this show that I really want to do," she said, as Tatum cracked a knowing smile. "And I'm begging him to do it with me. So hopefully one day, some audience will get a nice surprise. Not tonight, though." Her husband is confident that it will all come together eventually. "It's almost a probability," he said. "It's just...when can I actually get a chance to get in shape to do it?" Tatum added with a chuckle.
The Tatums' love for each other is palpable in everything they do. Both have shared countless adorable selfies and artistic photos that are the epitome of #MarriageGoals, Dewan Tatum recently got a lob haircut at her husband's sweet suggestion, and the actress/dancer also recently opened up about exactly how the couple keeps their sex life on point after all these years.
