Catfish's Nev Schulman has hooked his love! The MTV host has just tied the knot with his fiancé—now wife—Laura Perlongo. Here are all of the big day details.
According to People magazine, Schulman and Perlongo said their "I dos," at noon on Saturday, July 22 in Long Island, New York. Taking place in the groom's father's backyard in the Hamptons, the ceremony was officiated by YouTuber Casey Neistat, who took to Twitter to post his congratulations to the couple.
The ceremony also featured another very extra special guest—the couple's nine-month-old daughter Cleo who served as flower girl. An Instagram video shows the adorable Cleo being wheeled out in wagon—with the cutest, confused expression on her little face, we might add!—before being scooped up by her dad as the guests, who all seemed to be dressed in shades of white and beige, applaud.
The bride walked down the aisle in a wedding dress featuring a lace embroidered bodice and a flowy skirt by designer Inbal Raviv, and completed her bridal look with a boho fishtail braid. Meanwhile, the groom wore a white suit jacket and black bowtie for the occasion.
People reports that after the ceremony, the couple's first dance took place near the property's pool and Schulman's Catfish co-host Max Joseph had been tapped to toast the bride and groom at the reception, which ended with the newlyweds and their guests soaking up the sun at the beach—with some hilarious photo props in tow!
“I never imagined I could be this happy,” Schulman shared with the entertainment mag. “Marrying the woman of my dreams and having our beautiful daughter there with us! I’m a very lucky man.”
Schulman and Perlongo became engaged in May of last year, announcing the nupital news on Instagram just two weeks after revealing that they were expecting their first child. "So excited to spend my life with you," Schulman wrote.
