She might be ditching those bloody shoes for some more sensible ones: Cardi B is pregnant!
After days of speculation, the 25-year-old confirmed her pregnancy on this weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live. The singer/rapper revealed her belly bump during her performance, wearing a form-fitting white gown to showcase her new figure. According to a Pitchfork source, the future mom stated backstage after announcing the news, “I’m finally free!”
Prior to her solo performance, the rapper hid her baby bump under a layered floral dress on stage, but later changed into a fitted white dress to announce the news. The singer/rapper, who is engaged to Migos' Offset, was congratulated by dozens of fans and fellow stars, including the Saturday Night Live account itself, which confirmed the news by tweeting, "Congratulations @iamcardib! #SNL."
It's been noted by fans that the musician has been covering up in some especially over-the-top outfits in recent weeks, but now it seems as though the facade was put on to hide the news of her pregnancy.
Cardi and Offset got engaged in late October 2017, when the Migos member got down on one knee during a concert to pop the question. The rapper gifted his fiancé with an incredible pear-shaped diamond ring, which has since set a trend among celebrity engagement rings. Paris Hilton's fiancé gifted the heiress a similar stone for their engagement.
The future Mr. and Mrs. have not yet announced many further details of their nuptials, but it has been said that the two are planning something very over the top. However, according to the couple, the two plan on putting their nuptials on the back burner so that they are able to focus more on their careers—or maybe, a baby?!
