If you're one of Cardi B's 30 million Instagram followers, you know the "Bodak Yellow" singer is the queen of keeping it real on social media. Unsurprisingly, the new mother, who gave birth to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus July 10, is now using this platform to unapologetically rant about the not-so-glamorous parts of parenthood.
According to E! News, the Bronx-based rapper vented via Instagram Tuesday, getting candid about life after her first child with husband Offset. "This postpartum s--t is annoying," she wrote in true Cardi fashion. "Like, I been emotional all f--king day for no reason." We're sure non-celeb moms everywhere can also relate.
"Cardi has been very open about her postpartum depression and it's been a new thing for her to learn to manage," a source also added via E! News. "She just feels like her hormones are completely off-balance and all over the place. One day she will feel great and have a lot of energy and the next day she is upset and crying over nothing."
The 25-year-old Billboard chart-topping artist also lowballed her post-baby recovery time, and recently decided to pull out of the upcoming Bruno Mars tour. "As of today I've decided I won't be joining Bruno on tour this Fall," she posted on Instagram July 26. "I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I'd be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing. Not only am I just not ready physically, I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it's not healthy for her to be on the road."
But, despite still learning the ropes of "this whole mommy thing," the source added that she "loves being a mom," and her 26-year-old husband shares the same parenting mentality. "Offset is obsessed with Kulture," the insider said. "And Cardi thinks it's the cutest thing."
Plus, at only one month old, lucky Kulture has already been gifted with more designer goodies than the rest of us will ever see in a lifetime. Nicki Minaj, for instance, dropped $5,000 on a high-end gift basket for the new mother/daughter duo.

And, as for why no photos of Kulture have yet to grace the social media-savvy performer's feed? Cardi B admitted to Rolling Stone back in June that she felt "iffy" about showing her child off to the world. "My feelings get hurt when people online talking about family members," she said in the interview. "I think I’ll kill somebody if somebody talking about my child like that."
