Newlyweds Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden might be ready for a family of their own! The actress is reportedly taking a year off from making moves to "be a wife and try to have a baby" with the Good Charlotte rocker, a source tells Us Weekly.
"All she wants is to stay home and enjoy this special time in her life," the source reveals. Even though the 42-year-old Diaz had stellar years in 2013 and 2014 with films such as Sex Tape, The Other Woman and the musical adaption of Annie earning her $18 million, and her book The Body Book was named a New York Times Bestseller, "she has told her team she won't answer the phone for any amount of money — even though she has received offers for various things. She is adamant that she is not available for anything."
"She loves watching TV and movies at home with Benji, and she's working on new recipes for a follow-up to The Body Book," the insider continues. "Her priorities have 100 percent shifted. She wanted to settle down and she has."
Diaz and Madden, 36, have been married for five months. The couple's surprise, 100-guest traditional Jewish wedding in January was held in their $10 million Beverly Hills mansion, and including a slew of celebrity attendants like Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore (who was also one of Diaz's bridesmaids), Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann. The two then opted for a rustic-chic honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
This exciting potential-pregnancy news comes just a few days after the famous couple were spotted on a double date in West Hollywood with Madden's brother Joel and his wife, Nicole Richie, who have two children together. Sounds like Aunt Cameron and Uncle Benji might be ready for their own little ones!
