If you're looking for a low-key, yet entirely romantic honeymoon idea, take a page out of Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's book! The newlyweds opted for a rustic-chic post-wedding retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
After their surprise wedding on January 5 at Diaz's Beverly Hills home, the pair headed to the popular celeb resort town that is just a quick plane ride away. According to Us Weekly, the new Mr. and Mrs. Madden spent their time relaxing together and hitting up local eateries. They reportedly spent one night enjoying a casual meal of hush puppies, fried chicken, and jambalaya at a southern-style restaurant called Q Roadhouse and Brewing Co.
Their honeymoon was just as speedy as their engagement, though, and the couple has already returned to their California home to spend time with their extended family. The duo joined Madden's brother Joel and his wife Nicole Richie, along with their two kids, for a family brunch at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills.
The pair has been inseparable and undeniably happy since their wedding earlier this month. Friend and wedding guest Gwyneth Paltrow recently dished about their nuptials during an interview on Watch What Happens Live, saying, "Everyone felt warm and happy and it was a very beautiful night."
So are kids next for the happy newlyweds? Diaz recently told E! News that she's taking everything day-by-day, including whether or not she and Madden will start a family. "I stay right present, in the moment. I'm not the person, for whatever reason, I'm never projecting myself too far forward," Diaz said. "I don't live in the past. I try to stay really present, right in the moment where I'm at. And so, I've never said 'never' to anything."
