But despite the excitement of the upcoming big day, Caitlyn Jenner will reportedly not be attending her son's wedding. According to Entertainment Tonight, the E! reality star apparently has previously planned work commitments. The publication added that the 34-year-old groom is "deeply hurt" by Caitlyn's planned absence, but added that the two are on good terms—Caitlyn is even planning a party for the newlyweds when they return to Los Angeles.
And Caitlyn won't be the only one missing Brody's big day. Apparently his stepsisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, never even responded to his wedding invite.
“My two little sisters, we never even heard from them. They never even RSVP’d I don’t think,” Brody told People. “We sent them an invite, but we just never heard anything back,” Brody continued. “Well, they’ll be missed. I would have loved to have had them there.” Hey Brody, we should put you in touch with Meghan Markle—she knows a thing or two about flakey wedding guests!
The bride and groom are currently enjoying a pre-wedding vacation in Indonesia along with some friends. Brody shared a photo of himself and his fiancée, along with a group of friends, to Instagram earlier this week which he geotagged in Ubud, Bali.
Linda Thompson, Brody's mother, joined the couple on the trip in Bali and has been sharing photos of the couple's pre-wedding adventures. “The soon to be newlyweds @kaitlynn & @brodyjenner taking a selfie…” she captioned a photo of the bride and groom. “#JennerIsland #Bali #Seminyak.”
Brody proposed to Kaitlynn in May 2016, in the same place where they plan on tying the knot.
