Rumors and Twitter theories have been swirling since A Star Is Born premiered that director Bradley Cooper and his muse, Lady Gaga, have something ~ going on ~ based on their telling looks and amazing on-screen chemistry. There were even reports this weekend that Cooper and Gaga were spotted getting cozy at a pre-Oscars party in front of Gaga's recent ex-fiancé.
But Cooper shut all that down Sunday night at the 2019 Oscars when he stepped onto the red carpet with Irina Shayk, his longtime partner and mother of their child. The usually very private couple were incredibly flirty prior to the award show, gazing adoringly at each other and bursting into fits of laughter in front of photographers.
If you don't believe us, see for yourself.
And following his performance of Shallow during the awards show, Shayk could not have been more supportive, giving her partner a passionate embrace.
The actor and supermodel were first reported to be dating in 2015, and in 2017 the duo welcomed a daughter. There are also rumors they have been engaged for more than a year thanks to an emerald rock Shayk has sported on many red carpets, but neither one has confirmed it or publicly discussed their relationship status.
Shayk recently spoke with Glamour UK about the couple's decision to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. “I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly. I admire it and I think it’s great—but I think it’s all about personal choice,” she said. “Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet. That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”
But thanks to Cooper's award-winning work with A Star Is Born, the two have been out and about on the award circuit and clearly have gotten comfortable with some red carpet PDA. (Perhaps the slew of cutesy couples Sunday night swayed them?)
So feel free to chill with those Gaga and Cooper dating rumors now...but also this happened during their Oscars performance, so what do we know?
