5 Boozy Milkshakes for The Big Day (and Beyond!)

Pretty sure if you don't love all the chilly glory that is a milkshake, you may have no soul (just sayin'...). What makes this definitive summer treat even more spectacular? A little bit o' booze, that's what. From whiskey and bourbon to vanilla vodka and chocolate liqueur, an extra dose of spirit will enhance the milkshake experience tenfold (just make sure not to overdo it). These boozy shakes are an awesome addition to any bachelor/bachelorette party, engagement party, or summer wedding reception—have your blender at the ready and get shakin'.

Mint Chocolate Kik

  • 2 oz. Kikori whiskey

Chocolate shavings for garnish

Blend and shake together and serve in a parfait glass with a garnish of chocolate shavings.

Boozy S'mores Milkshake

1 pckg. Graham crackers

  • 4 oz. Drambuie
  • 4 oz. vanilla vodka
  • 4 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
  • Toast oversized marshmallows and assemble your s'mores with bars of chocolate and Graham crackers. Blend Drambuie, vanilla vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, and scoops of vanilla bean ice cream until thick and combined. Pour into glass and top with chopped bits of leftover chocolate from your bars. Add s'mores on top and a marshmallow on a skewer for garnish.

    Dirty Chai Bourbon Vanilla Milkshake

    • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • to taste whipped cream
  • to taste ground cinnamon

    In a large mason jar, add bourbon along with a dirty chai tea bag. Let the tea bag steep in the bourbon for an hour at least. To prepare the milkshake, place vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup of the infused bourbon, and milk into a food processor or blender. Pulse until thickened. Divide the mixture evenly between four glasses and garnish with whipped cream and ground cinnamon.

    Chocolate Milkshake with Whiskey

    • 1 cup cold milk

    3 oz. whiskey

    2 cups ice

    to taste Malt Balls

    1 1/2 cup chilled whipping cream

    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

    Add cold milk, whiskey, malted milk powder, chocolate ice cream, and ice to the blender. Blend on low, slowly increasing the speed until smooth consistency is reached, about two to three minutes. In a large chilled bowl, whisk chilled whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla, until soft peaks form. Pour chocolate malted whiskey milkshake into four separate glasses. Top with fresh whipped cream, Malt Balls, and chocolate shavings for garnish.

    Boozy Lucky Charms Milkshake

    1/4 cup milk

    to taste vanilla extract

    3 oz. vanilla vodka

    3 Tbsp. sprinkles

    to taste whipped cream

    Frost the top of your milkshake glasses with the funfetti frosting and stick the Lucky Charms marshmallows to it and set aside. Add mint chocolate chip ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and vanilla vodka to your blender. Blend until smooth. Pour your milkshake into the glasses, keeping a little room at the top. Top off your milkshake with whipped cream. Add additional Lucky Charms marshmallows, mini colored marshmallows, and sprinkles. Place a few mini marshmallows and your large marshmallows on a skewer and add as a final touch.
