We all know Blake Lively as a blonde bombshell with unforgettable roles in Gossip Girl and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but she's also a prankster! Apparently, The Age of Adaline actress tricked former co-star and best friend, Amber Tamblyn, with the news that she and husband Ryan Reynolds had welcomed their baby girl in a quite hilarious way.
The holidays ended in a big way for Lively and Reynolds as they welcomed their first daughter together at the end of December. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants crew is still amazingly tight-knit; they're all godmothers to the new Lively-Reynolds bundle of joy.
When it came time for the new parents to decided to tell their news to Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel, they did so in as lighthearted a way as possible. Tamblyn shared how the prank all went down at Ferrera's husband Ryan Piers Williams's "Monsters and Landscapes" art exhibit launch with People. "She tricked me! I went up there and I didn't know, everybody knew but me, and she does that s--- to me," she said of the momentous occasion. "She was texting me about wallpaper, she was like, 'You gotta come see my new wallpaper,' and I went up there, and there was her baby."
Despite the joke, Tamblyn is thrilled about the newborn and her role in her life. "We've all been over. I'm very excited for her and Ryan, and to be an auntie. All of us are godmothers so we are very happy. I took pictures with Ryan and the baby and sent them to Ken Kwapis, the Sisterhood director."
Ferrera also had kids words to share about the new addition to the Lively-Reynolds family stating, "I couldn't be more excited for her and Ryan, and they are going to be amazing parents."
