Move over, Prince William and Kate Middleton. This wedding is as royally insane as they come. (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might as well not even try to compete. Sorry, guys.) When Karen Karapetyan, the son of an Armenian real estate billionaire, recently tied the knot with social media maven Lilit Karapetyan, the over-the-top nuptials featured larger-than-life canopies of fresh flowers, bedazzled everything, dance floor fireworks, and a 15-foot-tall wedding cake. Clearly it was a casual affair.
Billionaires do it big, y'all. And this wedding was no exception. The Daily Mail reports that the couple's 200 guests (including a couple members of Russian President Vladimir Putin's inner-circle, because of course) arrived at the Armenian Apostolic Church in Moscow to witness the ceremony. The bride walked down the aisle—which boasted an archway of a forest's worth of multicolored flowers and dozens of faux candles, naturally—in an enormous bridal gown by designer Zuhair Murad that featured glittering silver all-over detailing, an illusion neckline, short sleeves, and a voluminous tiered silhouette.
But that wasn't the only look that this billionaire bride rocked at her wedding. (Perish the thought!) At the reception, which took place at the city's Safisa venue, Lilit debuted a slightly more streamlined version of her princess ball gown that looked way easier to dance in.
And dance she sure did... Within a circle of sparklers, of course.
In case guests forgot whose wedding they were there for, one wall of the reception venue featured giant initials of the bride and groom, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a space that wasn't absolutely dripping with flowers. Just look at that ceiling for goodness sake! Godspeed to any guests who had allergies.
If that wasn't enough to give you rush, the amount of sugar in this wedding cake ought to do the trick. It was 15-feet tall. Why? We don't know.
Just your average everyday wedding, ya know?
