We've said it once, we'll say it a million times: Winter is the most romantic season to get married. Sure, spring, summer, and fall have their obvious charms and advantages, but if you're dying to have a wedding filled with incomparable romance, winter is the way to go. We know our fabulous Facebook audience feels the same way, so we asked them to share photos from their own cold-weather nuptials. Cozy fur shrugs, seasonal flowers, stunning snowy settings, and warm embraces abounded, but we managed to narrow down five of our favorites. Read on to see what made the cut.
Bride Michelle Labuda's photo, above, set the bar incredibly high. As if the snow and their passionate kiss wasn't picturesque enough, she's wearing a cape! It looks ripped straight from the pages of a classic novel, in the best possible way.

Winter doesn't always entail snow. In many parts of the country (and the world), slightly warmer temperatures means that clouds and rain are more likely to be part of the forecast — not that there's anything wrong with that. Bride Paige Johnson's wedding photo shows how any precipitation can make for a picture-perfect moment.

Everything about this ceremony photo, shared by bride Katie Watson Grant, speaks to our senses: The Christmas-y holly berries and greenery, the candles and lights, the scarlet bridesmaids' dresses, and the groomsmen's kilts.

It's always a good idea to get outdoor portraits, but winter weddings mean you need a little something so you don't freeze! We love how bride Danielle Kirk wore a fur stole and then gave her 'maids some pashminas so they could pose in the snow and stay warm at the same time!
