This traditional French patisserie creates classic sweets like entremets (an elegant layered dessert of mousse and cake) and individually sized tarts, but we're partial to the French macarons. Handcrafted by a classically trained pastry chef, these light, airy Parisian cookies come in colorful, seasonal flavors. *Read real brides' reviews here! *

Sweet Mandy B's is known for making Lincoln Park patrons their favorite nostalgia-inducing comfort desserts (dirt cup, anyone?). The selection of old fashioned cookie bars like confetti rice krispie treats, turtle brownies and lemon bars will instantly take you back. Plus, we can't get out of the cute, tea party-esque shop without an oversized ranger cookies jam-packed with chocolate, oats and coconut. Read real brides' reviews here!

We can guarantee that if wedding guests sit down to a Fleur de Sel caramel by this local sweets company, they're not going to remember whether they ordered the steak or salmon. Soft, honey caramel is coated with 72% bittersweet chocolate and sprinkled with the perfect amount of sea salt to create that blissful salty-sweet combination. Their hot chocolate bar is also a unique addition, featuring drinking chocolate made with real chocolate (not cocoa powder) and garnished with sweets like candied hazelnuts and housemade marshmallows. *Read real brides' reviews here! *

Favorites include the flourless molten chocolate cupcake filled with dulce de leche granache and the cake batter cupcake, which is confetti cake injected with raw cake batter and topped with vanilla butter cream (pictured above). With three locations in surrounding Chicago suburbs, Deerfields continues to carry on its five-generation tradition as a family-owned and operated bakery. For your big day, this Chicago treasure can serve up anything from creative, non-traditional baked goods to the good ol' classics. While we'd eat pretty much anything that is coated in its blow-your-mind buttercream frosting, the mini wedding cakes complete with full decorative details like rosettes and tiers are almost too perfect to eat. We said almost. *Read real brides' reviews here! *
