With its gorgeous beach, bustling boardwalk, and lively nightlife, Ocean City is a prime destination for a bachelorette party weekend. The resort town is packed with activities for water adventure-seekers and daredevil adrenaline junkies. For one, Ocean City has an amusement park that the bride and her bridesmaids could visit for some fun, games, and screams! The resort town also offers a myriad of water activities like kayaking, parasailing, paddleboarding, and even Jet Ski rentals. Plus, you can grab a bite of fresh seafood (like oysters and crabs) after basking under the sun and wading in water.

If you're solely looking for party spots, Ocean City's nightlife is not to be outdone. It has a variety of top-notch party options, whether you want to party during the day, at night, or anytime in between. Hop on a water taxi and go bar-hopping at the many waterside drinking establishments for a memorable last hurrah for the bride-to-be!

Where to Stay

For starters, Ocean City has lodging options for all budgets. The Dunes Manor Hotel & Suites offers a great suite option and is conveniently located right on the boardwalk between 28th and 29th streets. The Hilton Suites Ocean City Oceanfront as well as the Princess Royale Resort also offer nice rooms with easy access to the beach and to all the nightlife and activities the city has to offer. You can’t go wrong renting an Airbnb for your bachelorette party weekend, either. Provided you find a home whose owner is amenable to hosting larger groups, Ocean City certainly doesn’t lack for beautiful beach homes.

Where to Eat

You surely won’t go hungry in Ocean City! For brunch, we suggest checking out either Bayside Skillet or Barn 34. Barn 34 has a large menu, so whether you’re looking for breakfast favorites or something with local flavor, like the crab Benedict, you’re sure to find something tasty to kick off the day. For a memorable lunch or dinner experience, check out Hooked, a hometown favorite that uses the freshest local ingredients to cook up some seriously delicious eats. Start by sharing some baked oysters (how can you go wrong when you add white cheddar and bacon?) or some crab dip. In addition to a variety of seafood entrées, there's also a great New York strip steak and a pan-roasted chicken. Everything can be paired with local craft beers or something from the impressive wine and cocktail list.

What to Do

Since you’re right on the beach, catch up on some much-needed R&R. There’s plenty of room for you and your 'maids to lay out and get some sun. And you won’t have to go far for lunch, as there are numerous options right on the boardwalk. Another great way to spend a beautiful sunny day is out on the water—book a boat tour and head out for a day on the seas. If you want to combine your boat experience with your partying, you can hire the Buzz Boat Water Taxi specifically to take you bar-hopping around Ocean City’s many waterside drinking establishments.

Where to Party

The real question is where not to party? You may have heard of Seacrets, which is Ocean City’s most well-known party spot. The great thing about Seacrets is that there are multiple options within one venue—the sprawling layout has something for everyone, whether you want to saddle up to the bar, dance to a live band or DJ, or sit out by the bay and get some sun. Fager’s Island, also right on the Isle of Wight Bay, is a dance party hotspot, as is Macky’s. Wherever you end up, you’re guaranteed to dance, sing, and party the night away before you tie the knot!
